                                                                    FAMILIES

Family therapy is an opportunity for loved ones to express themselves, openly communicate, and solve problems that are negatively affecting the entire family unit. Regardless if one member or mulitple members of the family are struggling with an issue, bringing the family together can offer many

benefits in counselling. Family therapy often focuses

on relationships between each member,

communication patters, and reuniting the family as a

safe, and stong unit.

I have experience working with a wide variety of

concerns. Below is a list of possible issues families

might be struggling with:

  • The effects of a mental health illness

  • Parents struggling with a child's behaviours

  • High parental conflict

  • High family conflict

  • Blended family issues

  • Separation and divorce

  • Chronic illness

  • Greif and Loss

  • Elderly caregiving

  • Coping with the effects of change

  • Addiction
